| What did we, the music listening
public, do to deserve this artistic abortion?
Furthermore, where was Maynard James Keenan's sense of right and wrong
while contributing to this waste of record store rack space?
I can only suspect that Billy Howerdel concocted this unholy idea while
mulling over his prospects to rape fans of his band for another $13.
Weak remixes and ill-advised covers, all held together by a political
theme!!? How fucking original.
"Passive" is the only song on the album that seemed to be
worth multiple listens...
[editor's note: "Passive" is also the only song we'll ever
hear from the alleged Trent Reznor/Maynard James Keenan supergroup Tapeworm.
It is a reworked version of "Vacant," a song APC performed
during NIN's "Fragility" tour.]
Butchering the Black Flag classic "Gimme Gimme Gimme" was
the final straw. Just plain wrong.
Feel free to call me an evil bastard now...
