What did we, the music listening public, do to deserve this artistic abortion?

Furthermore, where was Maynard James Keenan's sense of right and wrong while contributing to this waste of record store rack space?

I can only suspect that Billy Howerdel concocted this unholy idea while mulling over his prospects to rape fans of his band for another $13. Weak remixes and ill-advised covers, all held together by a political theme!!? How fucking original.

"Passive" is the only song on the album that seemed to be worth multiple listens...

[editor's note: "Passive" is also the only song we'll ever hear from the alleged Trent Reznor/Maynard James Keenan supergroup Tapeworm. It is a reworked version of "Vacant," a song APC performed during NIN's "Fragility" tour.]

Butchering the Black Flag classic "Gimme Gimme Gimme" was the final straw. Just plain wrong.
